PADDINGTON CANAL APARTMENT

A fun and playful, yet sophisticated and elegant pied-a-terre.

There are several striking features as soon as you pass through the entrance doors – the bespoke multi-panelled mirrored unit is then followed by a gold leafed raised ceiling in the hallway and elegant deco style seat.

The playfulness continues into the living /dining area, with the multi oval panelled mirror pieces at the end of the dining area and chairs with contrasting back and front fabrics.

Colour combinations of lilac, silver and a touch of lime green are cleverly picked out throughout the living area. These combinations range from the contrast seat fabrics, the lampshades on the shagreen lamps, (covered in lilac silk, with a lime green ribbon contrast), to the large ottoman coffee table and moveable stools, which have speckles of lilacs, purples and lime greens. The colours are also picked out in the border on the rug, which frames the sitting area.

The Master bedroom is sophisticated, with a multi-panelled velvet headboard and wenge framed border, and enhanced by the silk wallpaper above and beautiful wenge bedside tables covered in a quilted leather. All these features are set off by the elegant velvet carpet. Fun purple zebra print fabrics are then used on the stool in the walking wardrobe and for the seats in the covered balcony area.

The second bedroom is set off by the beautiful wallpaper and bedside hanging lights. A desk/table on wheels was added over the bed to allow for a double bed and study area within this moderately sized room.

Additional spaces, such as a study room/third bedroom, were also given the same amount of attention. A large silver crocodile wall covering and bespoke designed desk inlaid with leather and finished with mother of pearl drawer handles were added.
