Notting Hill Apartment

Brief to design an apartment that would be used as a boutique hotel. Colours were to be bold and striking so that the apartment would stand out and be highly rentable. I kept to a neutral palate and accessorized with a deep shade of red. The red accessories are continued through to the kitchen.

The kitchen needed to be modern in terms of functionality, but my clients wanted a touch of traditionalism. This is enhanced by the oak shaker style doors and the granite worktop. The stone grey painted doors link to the light mocha walls and down play the traditional shaker doors. I also teamed the granite with a mocha glass splash back, which adds light and reflection to the small kitchen.

In the bathroom the red is continued through to the natural stone countertop, which is a beautiful grey with a red vein running through.
The bedroom needed to be welcoming, comfortable and very much the typical boutique style bedroom that guests would expect.
